What if it snows?

Procedures are in place to take care of snow removal. Unless there is a major weather event that would make it unsafe for guests and volunteers to attend Night to Shine, the event will continue as planned.

Is this a Christian Event?

This event is open to all people with special needs and all qualified volunteers. It is sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, a Christian organization and is being hosted at area churches.

Who is invited to Night to Shine?

Anyone with special needs ages 14 and over including people with disabilities that may be physical or psychological. This event is 100% FREE of charge for our guests with special needs.

What activities can be expected at Night to Shine?

Guests will be assigned to his/her buddy upon registration, get crowned as nobility, and be escorted down the red carpet filled with photographers. After getting his/her professional photo taken in front of the Tebow Foundation back drop, each guest will be treated to a welcome video from the Tim Tebow Foundation.  There will be heavy hors d’oeuvres, Karaoke, bingo and a funky photo booth. The event will continue with a live DJ with dancing, a beauty room for makeup touch-ups and shoeshines, limousine rides and a quiet room for anyone needing a break. We will have security and medical personnel onsite throughout the event.

I am a paparazzi. Are you providing cameras?

We will not be providing any cameras for the paparazzi. If you have a camera, please bring it! Otherwise you can use your smartphone to take pictures.

Do guests need chaperones?

Most guests will be dropped off by a caretaker or chaperone who will use his or her judgment whether to stay with the guest, enjoy a night out, or stay in the respite room. We strongly encourage chaperones to drop off their guest and allow us to assign a buddy/escort for the evening, unless you believe it’s essential to accompany your guest into the prom.
